The Diiaki-Mexico Project is an international collaboration project between students and staff from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara. Diiaki, which means ‘egg’ in Kimbundu (a language in Northern Angola), is a program which helps TEC de Monterrey Prepa and University students develop skills essential to developing innovative ideas into real-life devices and profitable enterprises.
Program participant’s will gain critical thinking, business, and engineering skills that are not only highly desired, but are also required in order to achieve success in university and industry through the creation of a ‘start-up’ company centered around an invention of the student’s creation.
Diiaki-Mexico wishes for program participants to not only gain these critical skills for success, but to also be introduced to the exciting opportunities available in business and engineering in their local communities and abroad.
